In 2005, GCB Cocoa acquired Carlyle Cocoa in New Castle, Delaware, a value-added facility for cocoa cake grinding. Carlyle’s plant is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to further process cocoa cake into natural, alkalized, and black cocoa powder.

Its strategic location in the United States allows the Group to provide quality products and services to customers locally. Located minutes off of Interstate 95, the facility is ideally located for manufacturing products with a relatively high turnover rate. Carlyle’s second location, in Swedesboro, New Jersey, offers services to the confectionery industry.
