GCB Cocoa Côte d‘Ivoire

GCB Cocoa Côte d’Ivoire was established in 2018 and is located in San Pedro, Côte d’Ivoire, with an expected cocoa grinding capacity of 60,000 MT. The cocoa bean processing facility is currently under construction and is targeted to be completed in the near future. It draws on the Group’s expertise in the cocoa manufacturing sector to develop and expand the Group’s capabilities in Côte d’Ivoire to support our European markets.
 
As Côte d’Ivoire is the world’s largest cocoa-producing country, the facility will allow the Group to be closer to its farmers than it has ever before, and kickstart the implementation of its cocoa sustainability programme to source cocoa beans directly from the farmers and improve the livelihoods of farmers.
